> Readwith is a private reading room for one reader and one book.

You add your own epub. Readwith lays it out as a clean page and keeps progress, highlights, and notes with the book. Every book gets its own companion. You name it. It is grounded in your copy. By default it stays with how far you have read.

Reading is free, and it never locks. Discuss uses credits.

## How the room works

3. Discuss. One companion per book. Talk, think, try ideas from this title.

## What we hold to

- Reading never locks. Credits meter Discuss, not pages.
- One companion per book. Not a general assistant wearing a bookmark.
- It stays with your page by default. That is a preference, not the reason the room exists.
- Your highlights are yours. Private by default.
