Credits are decimal for people and integer credit-seconds in the ledger (1 credit = 60 credit-seconds). Burn is by the wall-clock second. Text costs 1 credit per minute. Voice costs 3 credits per minute. There is no silent overage.

## Plans

- Free: $0. 5 books. 10 credits, one-time. At zero, Discuss pauses; the reader stays open.
- Plus: $9.99 per month. 50 books. 100 credits per month. Credits do not roll over. Cancel anytime.
- Top-up: about $8 for 20 credits, added to your balance.

## Plain answers

- What happens at zero credits? Discuss pauses; the reader does not. Keep reading, highlighting, and taking notes.
- Do credits roll over? Plus credits refresh each billing month and do not carry over. Free trial credits are one-time. Top-up packs add to your balance.
- What books can I bring? Your own epub files.
- How is Discuss billed? By the wall-clock second, at the text or voice rate.
- Can I cancel Plus? Anytime. Books, notes, and reading stay as they were.
