How the room works
Bring a book
Add your own epub. Readwith lays it out as a clean page and keeps your progress, highlights, and notes with the book, on every device you read on.
Read
The reader stays out of the way: no feeds, no badges, nothing pulling at your sleeve. Type, margins, and light are yours to set. Reading is free, and it never locks.
Discuss
Every book gets its own companion. You name it. It is grounded in your copy. You can talk, argue, and try the ideas out loud. By default it stays with how far you have read.
Discuss uses Credits.

By default, the companion draws on pages you have already read. That is a preference, not the reason the room exists.

From the maker
Readwith began as the app I wanted mid-book: someone to talk with at 1 a.m. about the page I was on. It's built by one person, slowly, to stay that way.
